Namibia: Animals

Ca a été un festival d'animaux pendant tout le séjour, voilà quelques photos en vrac de ceux que j'ai pris avec mon petit appareil photo compact, ça ne vaut pas les zooms du fond de l'oeil de Benjamin et Erwan mais ça donne un petit aperçu .

We saw a lot of animals in Namibia, below some pictures in any order, animals are not so close than with Benjamin or Erwan because I had a little compact camera but we can have a good point of view of what it was.

Namibia : Home Sweet Home

On a parcouru la Namibie avec un 4X4 et deux tentes de toit, à l'image d'une tortue qui a sa maison sur le dos. Et on a pu déjeuner, diner et dormir dans des endroits magnifiques.

Our car, a 4-wheel drive, was also our home with two roof tents, almost like a turtle. We drove all around Namibia and found lunch, diner and sleeping places absolutely fabulous.

Namibia : New friend Amarula

Amarula est notre nouveau compagnon de route, c'est un chameau koweïtien qui pour changer d'air est venu passer ses vacances en Namibie...

Amarula is a new friend, a camel coming from Koweit who spent holidays with us in Namibia...

"Rentrée des classes"

Revenue de vacances (je vous montrerai quelques photos plus tard en attendant vous pouvez aller voir quelques photos là ou là) me voilà toute prête pour faire la rentrée des classes.

Description du premier jour d'école :

1- debout réveil 6h30 (ça ça fait mal après 3 mois sans réveil) j'ouvre un oeil et là que vois je "oh il fait nuit"
2- préparation, thé, départ, à mi-chemin "est ce que j'ai éteins la plaque????" hum... "zut pas de souvenir" et voilà comment commencer une journée en courant... retour maison... vérification plaque ... éteinte évidemment... zut crotte de bic... je cours... le train zut le train... "ouf je l'ai eu mais il est 7h30 et je transpire"
3- arrivée gare des aubrais, je descends de la navette "gare des aubrais, ici les aubrais, le train à destination de paris à 7h35 arrivera voie 5 avec ... 10 minutes de retard", bienvenue dans le quotidien des transports
4- arrivée à paris, zou traversée du jardins des plantes c'est chouette il fait jour et ..."il pleut" non je n'ai pas de parapluie, oui l'eau ça mouille, et la poudre blanche du jardin des plantes avec de l'eau sur le pantalon noire tout propre du matin c'est pas top.
5- urgence toilette, et bien oui boire 1 grand bol de thé le matin n'a pas de grande conséquence quand le trajet prend 10 min, mais après 2h de trajet et bien comment dire... je ne prendrai plus mon thé chez moi je crois.
6- Bonjour buro 1, bonjour buro 2, bonjour buro 3,... je vous présente... Promenade de bureau en bureau, remplissage de papiers, j'ai du écrire plus de 10 fois mon nom, mon prénom, mon adresse mail et mon numéro de téléphone, petite signature par ci, petite signature par là, journée bien administrative.
7- rendez vous chez le docteur visite médicale bilan "apte au service" c'est bon j'suis en forme pour aller travailler au labo
8- discussion bla bla, enseignement master, licence, TP, TD, cours magistraux, groupe, alternance, terrain, stage etc...
9- connection à internet, login d'MSN, petit post sur le blog... bon ben c'est bientôt l'heure journée épuisante, faut rentrer à la maison, contente de revenir dans un bureau avec des collègues. Retour parmi les travailleurs. Bilan : heureuse.

Back from Namibia (I will post pictures later but there are some here and here). I started a new job today in Paris, at the university as teacher-researcher. And today was my first day to restart school.

Schedule of the day :

1- get up at 6.30, difficult after 3 months without an alarm clock, I opened an eye and "it is the night" (I shoul precise that I am leaving in orleans and working in Paris which means that I have to commute)
2- Shower, breakfast, bag and let's go but in the middle of the way I was not sure that I stopped the cooking place... back home... check... "of course" it was off, and now I have to run...run... I have to catch this train.. yes I got it and I sweat at 7.30 in the morning.
3- after the first train, I have to change to take another one, and that train was "delayed" 10 minutes, it is not a big deal but when it takes 1h30 to get to your final destination, 10 minutes become important.
4- 8.45 Paris I crossed a park and the rain dropped, I did not have an umbrella, and the white dust on the way mixed with water came slightly on my clean black pants. Nice my pants is grey now.
5- I took my breakfats and my big tea at least 2 hours earlier, I need to go to the bathroom quickly. Note for later : considering the time I need to go to the office, drink smaller tea or drink at the office.
6- I walk from an office to the next to say "hello" to everybody, write my name, first name, adress, email, tel etc... more than 10 times and signed a lot of documents. Administrative day.
7- Appointement with the doctor because for this position you need that the doctor writes on a paper that "everything is fine with you" and "you can work in the departmenet" I do.
8- afterwards discussion, bla bla bla, students, courses, pratical, lecture, master degree, bachelor degree, field, teaching, etc...
9- connection to internet, login to MSN & Facebook, Small post on my blog ... and... it's time to go, the day is off, I should go home. Hard day :) back in an office with collegues. Happy :)

Music Day / Fête de la Musique

Si tu ne vas pas à la fête de la musique, la fête de la musique viendra à toi.
Je ne croyais pas si bien dire, fanfare sous ma fenêtre.
J'étais aux premières loges même si je n'ai pas choisi la programmation.

In Orléans, I am living in the city center.
The 21st of june, start of the summer, it is also the music day in France.
Everybody can play music everywhere and you can listen whatever you want down town.
I did not go really to listen to music, because the music came to me.
This concert happened just below my window.
I was at the best place even if I did not choose the music.
